🦊 A Second Chance for Chance
In June, a young fox cub named Chance was found injured after being hit by a car in Nottinghamshire, England, with his back legs unable to function. A veterinarian initially feared he might have to be put down, but wildlife rescuers took him in and began working toward his recovery.
As part of his rehabilitation, Chance now receives assisted swimming sessions at the Mansfield Canine Centre, where the water helps support his movement while he rebuilds strength. His caretakers have noticed that he is beginning to use his back legs more, regain sensation, and kick them while swimming. The rescuers are keeping human contact limited so he can eventually return to life in the wild. If his progress continues, they hope Chance will one day be released back into the English countryside.

Rhys Wynne-Jones, a man from the U.K. who had experienced homelessness for more than a decade, gained attention after a video of him playing piano in a church went viral in 2024.
The video introduced many people to his musical talent and helped bring new opportunities into his life. As his story spread over the past two years, people began supporting him through fundraising efforts. He has since helped raise about $50,000 for charity, turning the attention he received into support for others. His story shows how sharing a talent can open new doors and create opportunities to help others, too.
