The wedding dress savior
In San Antonio, Texas, a bride-to-be named Kathleen Sanchez had her holiday-themed wedding dress stolen just weeks before her wedding. When the story made local news, a stranger quietly bought the exact same dress and delivered it to her in person—letting her walk down the aisle as planned, proud and expecting her first child. Kindness arrived just in time!
Money at a gas station
On Australia’s Gold Coast, 17-year-old Josh Pache found a bundle of $3,500 lying on the pavement outside a petrol station. Instead of keeping the money, he turned it in to the station owner. The money belonged to Daniel McKellar, a local business-owner who lost it while grabbing a coffee. When he saw security footage of the young stranger, he rewarded him with $1,000 and a job offer at his company once Josh finishes school.
A ramp of kindness
In Manistee County, Michigan, volunteers with the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity built a temporary accessible ramp in one day for a resident who’d broken his ankle and was unable to navigate stairs, enabling him to safely enter and exit his home during recovery.
